Occupying the top floor of the Bund 18 building; the UNESCO awarded heritage building which itself was Kokaistudios first project in Asia; Bar Rouge over its first 10 years of operation established an international reputation as China’s most famous club playing host to some of the world’s highest profile celebrities, artists and musicians.
Kokaistudios于近期完成了Bar Rouge，具有传奇色彩的上海标志性夜生活场所的重新设计。它位于联合国教科文组织保护建筑外滩18号的顶层，此栋历史建筑的修复和改造正是Kokaistudios在亚洲的首个项目。Bar Rouge在首个十年的历程里已成为享有国际声誉的中国最知名俱乐部，接待了世界一流的明星，艺术家和音乐家。
Having undergone several small-scale renovations during the past decade the client approached Kokaistudios to re-visit the project and undertake a complete 4 month renovation with the goal of re-vitalizing the Bar Rouge brand . The Client’s dream was to return Bar Rouge to the glamour and spirit of the original venue - a mystic, imaginary Shanghai combined with the highest international levels of vibrancy, music, and service - but adapted to the needs of the environment of today . An identity built around an imaginary Shanghai Lady 10 years later – more refined; more sophisticated; and as always charming and sexy.
